When? Tuesday 26th June 18 saw the opening launch party of the pop up exhibition and I was on hand to bring you the low down from the front line of the party!

What I Wore?
Amanda Wakeley of course! This stunning Lemon yellow chiffon fil coupe layered dress is from the Spring Summer 18 ready-to-wear collection. Its gorgeous bright tones are so uplifting and summery.
The Party
Drinks flowed all evening and champagne glasses overflowed as the flagship store opened its doors to London’s fashion and art crowd. Ladies looked glamourous in Amanda Wakeley signature pieces and the neon light artworks provided a beautifully lit backdrop for the party goers.

The Moth Applique
As part of the collaboration Amanda has designed an exquisite signature moth applique, inspired by Eve de Haan’s ‘midnight moth to a flame’ neon piece. The applique plays on the irony of a moth drawn to cashmere and how a scarred piece of clothing can be destroyed by a moth and then re-elevated by the moth applique .
It is available in store and can be hand sewn by the atelier onto any piece from the cashmere collection of your choice. Prices start from £75 for the small moth and £95 for the large. It’s currently available at the flagship store but soon going online.
