I was invited to review the Weekend Brunch at Four Seasons Hotel London at Park Lane and our food and drink was complimentary. I was not paid to visit and was not under contractual obligation to write this blog post or create content on any platform.
Last weekend, Mr S, Oscar and I were invited to a very special launch – the new Weekend Brunch at Four Seasons Hotel London at Park Lane in partnership with Ruinart champagne.
As soon as we walked into the gorgeous Amaranto restaurant we were handed a glass of cold Ruinart and I bumped into my dear friends Binny and Sima. Taking a light filled seat by the window, we enjoyed the sounds of a live singer as the restaurant filled up with fellow bloggers and Instagrammers.
The cuisine at Amaranto is Italian but the brunch is inspired by locally sourced ingredients and everything comes from nearby – it’s truly the best of British.
We began with the light choices from the menu which included baby chicory ‘chicon’ with green apple, gorgonzola, walnuts and vitello tonnato with tuna belly, capers and fresh chilli along some delicious sun-dried tomato bread.
Next we were directed to try food from the live cooking station and sample some the Morrocan tagines which included chicken, faro and aubergine with an assortment of dips. Main courses are seafood, eggs or ‘something a bit richer’
I had the most perfect poached eggs ‘a la russe with Maldon cured smoked salmon, caviar and mousseline sauce, Mr S went for rich tomato meatballs, Sima had vegan linguine and Binny opted for roasted artichoke. We also enjoyed octopus carpaccio and frittura mista from the seafood selection.
Finally I think what everyone was looking forward to… the dessert buffet which was proudly displayed in the middle of the room.
An absolute dream for the sweet-toothed!
A huge thank you Four Seasons Hotel London at Park Lane for a really amazing Weekend Brunch!
