London Art Exhibitions Azzedine Alaia: The Couturier Awarded the accolade of European Museum of the Year 2018, The Design Museum is housed in the former Commonwealth Institute in Kensington. It’s showcasing the work of Azzedine Alaia, the iconic fashion designer who created each garment by hand. His clothes were popular with celebrities such as Greta Garbo, Grace Jones and Rihanna. He co-curated this exhibition before his death in November 2017. It’s the first UK solo exhibition of his designs and spans the early 1980s to 2017.
