Brač

When you’re looking for sun and high waves, than there is no better option than Zlatni Rat on the island of Brač. This windy mile-long stretch of sand looks a lizard’s tongue from above and is the best location for several watersports and paragliding. The small village of Bol is also a great choice for enjoying seafood dishes.

Losinj

One of the smallest islands along the Dalmatian coastline is Losinj, a picture-perfect destination that seems almost unreal. Most people will travel to Mali Losinj, the largest city on the island, but it’s the nearby located small village Veli Losin that will make your heart skip a beat. There are only a small number of restaurants, bars and shops to visit after having walked along its beautiful harbour. Go on a small boat tour with one of the locals and explore the bay to catch a glimpse of one of the dolphins living here. This is island hopping at its best.

Mljet

Little is known about this southern oasis with a population of only a thousand people. Still, it’s one of the best Dubrovnik islands to discover. It is home to one of the most impressive nature reserves in Croatia, one that is best explored by bike. Once having cycled in the dense forests, swam in the salt lakes and enjoyed the sand dunes, head towards the village of Babino Polje where you can find Odysseus cave. Yes, even this Greek King took a rest at this location after years of traveling and being lured by the nymph Calypso. Even though we believe it’s the beauty of this place that made him come here.

Hvar

One hour sailing from Split, you’ll find the sunny island of Hvar. This is the hotspot for celebrity spotting as there are several who are spending their holiday on their private yachts in the harbour. Though wandering with Beyonce or a famous movie star might seem like the best way to spend your stay here, we can recommend something else. Enjoy kayaking to the Paklini archipelago or renting a car to drive towards the serene beaches of  Jelsa that are surprisingly less-visited.
