The Iconic Atzaro Ibiza Hotel’s 15th Anniversary Party
Where? Atzaro Ibiza, the most beautiful luxury spa hotel on the famous party island of Ibiza and one of my favourite hotels in the world.
When? August 2019
Why? In celebration of Atzaro’s 15th anniversary I was invited out to the magnificent hotel for a 2 night stay and to attend their 15th anniversary fashion show and party. And wow what a fantastic event it was! Keep scrolling to see my photo diary of the event and my stay…
The Hotel
Located on a 13 hectare expanse of beautiful Ibicencan country side, Atzaro Hotel was originally a farm and finca which was converted into a luxury boutique hotel in 2004. The hotel has been in the same family for generations and retains its working orange farm roots to this day.
As you walk through the pristinely manicured grounds filled with bougainvillaea, the scent of oranges and flowers dance on your senses.
It has such stunning natural landscapes and an atmosphere of complete serenity, it is absolutely one of my all time favourite places to stay and relax.
Who’s Stayed There
The list of celebrities to grace the hotel is long and varied, from some of the world’s top DJ’s, to Hollywood icons like Kate Hudson and Goldie Hawn. Musicians like Shakira come here to relax as well as Kim Kardashian and her family, who chartered the hotel yacht Prana for a sailing holiday which hit the papers earlier this season.
The hotel had to decline KK when she requested to re-hire the £13,000 per night yacht again for a second trip, the boat was so in demand it was sold out for the rest of the season!

Exquisite rustic interiors, terraces and pavilions are found throughout the grounds.
The Rooms and Interiors
Dressed in traditional Ibicencan finca style the beautiful rustic rooms are a palette of white washed walls and creamy soft furnishings, accented with elegant dark woods. Imagine balinese style walkways and swathes of tulle hanging languidly off the four poster beds. Everything about the interiors sings of romance, inner peace and calm.
Some rooms come with private plunge pools and serene outdoor terraces with only the sounds birds and nature to accompany your relaxation.
Spa and Pools
The hotel has 2 main pools, the famous 42 metre Balinese long pool with pagoda, which is perfect for swimming lengths and a the pretty family pool area. You could always opt for a room with a private pool though if you’re feeling a bit VIP.
For a truly holistic, well-being experience head to the Atzaro spa which uses estate produced organic products in the treatments. Each oriental treatment room has a charming view of the orange groves. With a daily yoga class timetable it’s hard not to feel relaxed here.
The outdoor sauna pod is located in the herb gardens which creates a beautiful olfactory experience with pretty views of the garden. (thanks for the modelling from my friend Alexa here)

Food and Drink
For a farm to fork food experience feast at one of the hotels many culinary options. Whether you enjoy a lovely healthy buffet breakfast in the main finca, I highly recommend the Spanish omelette with home made tomato sauce, or chose to dine by the pool on one of the day beds the food is sensational.
The evening is an even more exquisite affair. The spectacular Orange Tree Restaurant comes into its own under fairy lit, high filigree metal archways resting amidst the tops of the palm trees, creating a beautiful canopy above the diners, with the stars in the sky shimmering though the gaps. The menu is European fine dining using ingredients from the hotel farm gardens.
Outside of the hotel they also own Atzaro Beach and Aubergine Restaurant which are two of Ibiza’s most well loved establishments.

The 15th Anniversary Party
I was so lucky to be invited to one of the biggest nights on the Ibiza event calendar, the 15th Anniversary party at Atzaro hotel. Invitees included a whole host of Ibiza’s fashion and celeb scene. The glitterati chinked champagne glasses under the stars and graced the front row seats while the catwalk commenced around the long pool.
Guest were given champagne cocktails on arrival and invited to pose by the photo wall, like I did above.
The fashion show showcased the talents of 10 designer collections. Ranging from home grown labels such as World Family Ibiza, with their vibrant family-friendly range and La Galeria Elefante, whose collections are ethically made using worldwide NGO’s, to internationally renowned, fashion labels. Current darlings of the fashion world, Rixo London with its retro, elegant pieces and Isabel Moore with her inspired metallic styles added the perfect balance of boho meets glam.
All the collections were specially curated to show Ibiza’s bohemian style signature. They also focussed on the glitzy elegance of the islands party scene.

I loved the diaphanous dresses and sparkly sequin numbers sashaying down the catwalk, all perfectly depicting the bohemian vibes synonymous with the island.
And of course there was plenty of girl power and attitude in the models and the clothes they were wearing.
After the show there was an extravagant dinner on the terrace and the party goers danced the night away under the stars to sets by some of the islands finest DJ’s, this is Ibiza after all!
