On September 19th 2020, Luxeat started the first Luxeat panel about the Perfect Ingredient.
Panel participants were discussing ingredients from the childhood memories and the importance of ingredients in home cooking and in restaurants, also asking the question if we must always be using local and seasonal produce. The group was also discussing how ingredients have changed over the years and what is the future for the perfect ingredient, with the growing increase in plant-based and meat alternative produce.
The speakers:
Matt Goulding, an American food journalist and author based in Barcelona, and renowned for his ‘Eat This, Not That’ column and book series.
Maria Canabal, writer for The World’s 50 Best, Monocle and Gourmet, and who is recognised as a figurehead for Women in Gastronomy.
