Cropped denim, cropped linen or cotton pants. I have been torn on this style for years and the main reason was where the hem landed on my lower leg. Proportions. It is all about proportions and not wanting to shorten the leg, years ago, the hem tended to fall at the middle of the calf (in other words, not very flattering).
However, the crop is back with a high waist and personality if you’d like it, and I must admit, I like it. If you are looking for a classic cropped straight leg jeans, these are my choice and these are bit more worn but still a classic pair. Pair with sandals, loafers or heels, these pants are versatile.
