I hope you all had a wonderful Holiday! I had grand plans to post all weekend including a recap of my Christmas doors of New York. But then I decided to just take some time off. You can see many of my favorite doors in my Christmas Highlights on Instagram which is only available on the app.
I’m also posting a repeat today. I came across photos of Sir John Richardson‘s Connecticut property recently and remembered how much I love his interiors. The colors remind me of Hamish Bowles‘s home which makes a little sense since they are both British. I feel like the Brits have a great color sense when it comes to decorating. I also love that his separate library building has become a one room live and work space. It’s too bad all studio apartments don’t look this chic.
Richardson, an art historian who will turn 94 in January, is known as the authority on Pablo Picasso and has written three books on the prolific artist. A fourth is supposedly in the works so fingers crossed it’s published soon.
