Japan meets Barcelona&Ibiza 2017

I am very honored and happy to share with you that I am curating a very exclusive and special event in Barcelona and Ibiza, which will take place on 3-7 June. Thanks to the wonderfully generous support of ANA airlines,(who are flying the chefs and their assistants from Japan to Spain!) and Mandarin Oriental, Barcelona, I’ll be bringing the best of the best masters from Tokyo – yakiniku chef Kentaro Nakahara, owner of Sumibiyakiniku Nakahara restaurant; sushi master Takaaki Sugita, owner of one of the best, if not the best, sushi-ya in Tokyo and Yoshiteru Ikegawa,number one for yakitori and owner of Torishiki. It’s something that never happened before as the 3 masters will close their restaurants especially to travel to Spain. Sugita sushi and Torishiki are legendary for being impossible to book for non- regulars and are usually fully booked months in advance.

June 4th at 20:30 at Mandarin Oriental, Barcelona

June 6th at 20:30 ” A meeting of Japanese and Spanish shokunins” at Sa Nansa, Ibiza

June 7th 19:00 a barbecue party like never before at La Muella, Ibiza
