Patricia Wells at Home in Provence: Recipes Inspired by her Farmhouse in France

As you will see below, Provence is more than slightly on my mind. Next summer I am looking forward to the opportunity to attend one of Patricia Wells’ cooking classes which will be held in Provence on her property shown in this cookbook, and I couldn’t be more excited. While this cookbook was published in 1996, if it is anything like her most recent, we are in for a treat and delicious eating.

Film

I Do . . . Until I Don’t

With Paul Reiser, Mary Steenbergen, Lake Bell and Ed Helms co-starring in this anti-romantic comedy, I couldn’t help but take a look. Directed and written by Lake Bell, I must say the balance of comedy, absurdity, reality and chance to just enjoy a creative slant on a tradition that often gets taken for granted and thus places unspoken expectations on individuals of their partners, intrigued me greatly. As three couples in Florida become subjects for a documentarian’s introspection of marriage, things begin to go a little haywire and the comedy unfolds. In theaters beginning today, have a look at the trailer below.

Olivia von Halle’s Coco silk-satin pajamas set

Oh my goodness yes. Put me to bed and let me wear these pajamas. A pretty penny they will cost, but I will forever feel luxuriously pampered. Needless to say, I am saving Olivia von Halle’s silk-satin soft blue pajamas in hopes of treating myself down the road after reaching a goal I have my sights set on.

The final weekend of summer is upon us, and with it the arrival of TSLL’s Fall Shopping Guide (released just minutes ago). It’s hard to believe yet another season is wrapping up and we enter the final few months of 2017. What a year and what a summer season is has been so far. I hope you are savoring these past few months and they have left you rejuvenating, inspired and ready to start September strong. I know I will be, and I look forward to putting in the hard work and seeing it all come together and sharing my journey right along with you..

Below are a few articles I thought you might enjoy and above is a dessert I cannot wait to try (doesn’t it look delicious?). With fresh pears from the farmer’s market, this just might be my dessert of choice this weekend as I escape to the country to spend some time with family. I do hope you have a lovely few days of leisure, exploration or whatever you most enjoy. Until Monday, bonne journée.
