Specializing in all type of vessel design, the design studio of Max Zhivov is known for their innovative and sustainable yachts, trawlers and houseboats. With a goal to personify the spirit of travel, the studio incorporates newfound green technology in all of its projects, and often collaborates with a variety of qualified naval engineers.
Doubling up as a classic houseboat, sauna, ferry for transporting surfs and kayaks, with optional whale Safari and cargo capabilities, this 26-meter (85-foot) vessel, dubbed ‘Drakkar S Smartyacht concept’ is a fully autonomous vessel, equipped with an advanced autopilot system and artificial intelligence. Expected to not only sail the open seas but perform more complicated manoeuvres, the Drakkar S simplifies even the most daunting of tasks, such as approaching the berth at the right distance for mooring, or identifying surface and underwater objects without human intervention.
Regarded the ideal vessel for inexperienced users, Drakkar S is fully electric and accessible to a wider range of prospective clients. Made available for charter, temporary owners of the Drakkar S may summon the superyacht to a desired location, and pre-program each destination from the convenience of a smartphone app. Powered by a state-of-the-art electric motor and 80 square-meters worth of solar panels on the roof, the Drakkar S promises a completely noiseless, and emissions-free journey, that is expected to be affordable to run and maintain without causing damage to the pristine environments of our world.
Complete with a sizable beach club, a dining salon, a kitchen, two master suites, and two guest cabins, the Drakkar S can accommodate up to eight guests with no need for a dedicated captain at helm.
