Not everyone can afford to hire the famed French interior designer and architect Jean-Louis Deniot to decorate their home but now you can experience his chic design style at the Hotel Nolinski in Paris. The soothing shades of greens and greys mixed with gold create a perfect respite after a day of exploring the City of Light. The amenities also can’t be beat.
The hotel has a gorgeous restaurant and brasserie, as well as a spa and pool. It’s also pet friendly. There is a mix of rooms and suites in the six floor building, some with bathtubs and others with just showers, so you may want to specify your preference when booking. The rooms also have operable French windows. There is nothing I hate more than not being able to open a window for fresh air while traveling.
The location is also centrally located in the 1st arrondissement near the Opera. It’s perfect for sightseeing, visiting the Louvre, walking in the Tuileries, and shopping along rue Saint Honoré. It’s also still within walking distance of the Left Bank.
One of my friends wanted to find a new hotel for her business trips to Paris and I joked that I would make it my mission to find one for her. I think my mission has been accomplished with the Hotel Nolinski.
Bon week-end !
