The Web Exclusive Home Tours on Architectural Digest are always my favorite features. They usually highlight more relatable interiors compared to some of the aspirational homes in the magazine. Long time readers might remember seeing the Chicago home of Lauren Buxbaum Gordon a few years ago. Lauren is a design director for Nate Berkus and moved to a new townhouse after getting married and having a baby. Her style has always incorporated antiques and now they have a neutral backdrop in which to stand out. I feel like the older I get, the more I really appreciate the pared back approach such as this one.
