10 Simply Luxurious Picks from Halsbrook

Composing our wardrobe is an effort that is carefully done. Paying close attention to purchasing quality items that while on trend, are not trendy. Halsbrook is an online women’s clothing destination where such items can be discovered.

Inspired by her mother’s appreciation for thoughtfully selecting and wearing items that were beautiful and timeless, the founder of Halsbrook Halsey Schroeder began to realize that opportunities to discover such items were greatly underserved. And thus, Halsbrook was born.

Offering quality items from well-known and respected brands such as LK Bennett and Oscar de la Renta as well as Lafayette 148, shoppers will find items for their capsule wardrobe that are well-made and will be enjoyed for many years to come.

I had the opportunity to peruse the entire site and was invited to share ten of my favorite items. It was hard to keep my list to 10 as so many of their items caught  my eye, so be sure to shop the entire site.

Below you will find each of the items and how I might wear them in my capsule wardrobe. As well, the timing couldn’t be better as their “Fall Into Sale” event has just begun with items reduced as much as 80% (check out the White Poplin Shirt from Ascoli). Happy shopping!

~Add a pair of denim jeans and ballet flats and the white blouse paired with either the camel or red trench would be a perfect daily uniform. The navy and ivory striped sweater would be worn frequently in my wardrobe as I adore stripes. Again, I would pair it with my favorite skinny jeans, either a tan ballet flat or nude pumps and grab the camel trench to finish the look.~

Sale Items:

~Ascoli White Notched V-Neck Cotton Poplin Shirt

~Mackintosh by Francis Campelli Camel Trench Coat with Belt

~Ivory and Navy Striped Merino Wool Sweater

~Mackintosh by Francis Campelli Red Short Trench with Belt

Staple Items for any Capsule Wardrobe:

~LK Bennett Medine Double-Breasted Checked Jacket

~The slightly over-sized black and white checked blazers are on trend currently, and what drew me to this blazer was that it wasn’t excessively over-sized. In fact, it is simply a classic blazer with the en vogue color of the moment which is a classic choice. Wear with black pants and black flats as shown above, and your simple look will look effortless and chic.~

~Allude Bright Multi-Striped Cashmere Sweater

~A lover of cashmere and stripes, the bright, playful colors are balanced well with the neutral grey hue. Ideal for layering under a warm wool coat and skinny jeans with a low-heeled bootie, stay warm and stay light-hearted.~

~LK Bennett Casia Navy Stretch Blazer

~Blazers are one of my favorite go-to essentials, and a navy blazer is a lovely choice as it pairs well with so many different options. Wear with a silk camisole and a pair of denim jeans or with a skirt or pair of pants in khaki, white, grey or a fantastic printed bottom. Wear for work or for play and rest assured you have a versatile item to pair with a long list of other pieces in your capsule wardrobe.

~Deborah Grivas Pearl Gold Textured Hoop Earrings

~A classic pair of hoops, not too large, not too small, are a must-have in any wardrobe. These have a touch of formal but are balanced with a touch of everyday which means they can be worn for both occasions.~

~Lafayette 148 Tory Raisin Finesse Crepe Dress

~I saw this dress and had to jump on it as it again is a versatile hue and wearing it to an upcoming holiday gathering with a statement necklace as seen above and a nude or neutral pumps keeps the styling simple.~

~Amina Rubinacci Salto Navy blue Funnel-Neck Puffer Coat

~If you, like me, live in a climate with frigid temperatures in the winter, a puffer coat is a worthwhile investment. But how to keep it stylish? This coat is your answer. With a tailored waist, keep your upper torso and your bottom half (pun intended) cozy warm. Slip on your winter boots, a wool stocking cap and of course some gloves and you are set.~

~Me & Kashmiere Powder Pink Cashmere Scarf

~Steadily, but carefully I build my scarf wardrobe. And when it comes to winter, I want cashmere rather than wool. The gentle caress of the fabric feels luxurious on the skin, and this scarf in a complexion brightening hue of pink would be a lovely addition.~
