A Change of Direction

It’s always around the end of July that I start to get sick of my colorful summer clothes and begin to reach for neutrals. It’s also around this time that I try to take advantage of the final days of sale season. There are still a a lot of good pieces left this year. I’ve picked out a few things that will get you through your next Zoom call or a weekend road trip in style.

You can wear this ivory cotton-voile blouse with jeans for a more casual look or a skirt when someone might actually see the bottom half of your outfit. Top it with a blazer when the weather cools off in September.

This asymmetric twill midi skirt works with tanks and blouses now and can be worn with a sweater in the fall.

I haven’t worn heels in months and don’t plan to but I know some of you still like to look a little taller. If that’s the case, I recommend these jute and leather wedge sandals. They are on sale and you can save an extra 72% off sale with code SALETIME which makes them only $19.60!

The City wicker and leather bag is perfect for city and country. It’s also on sale with an additional 20% off with code EXTRA20.

If I’m wearing neutrals, I like to add some fun accessories. This gold vermeil multi-stone charm bracelet is perfect and on sale for $108.

I love the color of these The Row + Oliver Peoples round-frame acetate sunglasses.

After mentioning Dr. Barbara Sturm products in my Friday post, I listed to an interview with her and watched her IGTV post today that outlined the order you should apply each product and serum. I had no idea you should use her Hyaluronic Serum first. I’ve used hyaluronic products last from other skincare brands. Hyaluronic serums attracts water and diminishes the appearance of imperfections and wrinkles for a firmer, more radiant-looking complexion.

This cream satin dress looks like an expensive designer but it’s only $69.99.

If I was going to wear heels, I’d definitely choose this brown leather pair that are 40% off right now.

This pale rose crossbody travel case bag is a pretty color to add to neutral outfits.

This gold-plated pearl necklace is a younger take on the traditional pearl necklace. The best part is that it’s on sale for $116.70.

If I didn’t already own pink Celine sunglasses, I’d buy these pink cat-eye acetate sunglasses that are on sale for myself.

The Dr. Barbara Sturm Glow Drops are my new favorite skincare products. This should be applied after your serum and moisturizer for a healthy glow. It can also be used over makeup.

Those of you with great legs need to buy this faux leather dress for $34.99.

There are a lot of sizes left in these chic bead-embellished rope and leather sandals that are 50% off plus an additional 20% off with the code EXTRA 20.

This cute satin and bamboo bucket bag is on sale for $104 and would be perfect with any neutral summer dress.

I’d add a stack of these on sale gold-plated and resin bangles to any ensemble.

You can never go wrong with aviators and these Fendi Aviator-style gold-tone sunglasses are also on sale.

I can’t believe I didn’t know what the Dr. Barbara Sturm Anti-Pollution Drops did exactly. They were formulated to protect your skin from environmental stressors and even blue light radiation emitted from computers and phones. I told my doctor that I was sure my hyperpigmentation was being cased by the blue light of my laptop and phone but she didn’t believe me. I just ordered the Anti-Pollution Drops to see if these help. You apply it at the end of your skincare regime and you can reapply it all day. There is also a small size available.

There is no simpler or chicer dress than this silk tricotine maxi dress. It’s also 25% off with the code SALETIME.

These suede sandals would look great with any of these outfits.

This raffia tote is perfect for the beach or city.

I like the hint of green on this gold-plated and resin necklace that is only $63.90.

There is nothing more classic than round-frame tortoiseshell sunglasses.

The Dr. Barbara Sturm Sun Drops SPF 50 are a cult favorite for those looking to protect their skin. You mix this drops with your regular face cream or use the light-textured drops undiluted over your moisturizer.

This might look like a dress but it’s actually a cotton and linen-blend jumpsuit.

Sculptural antiqued-gold hardware adds a chic touch to these tan leather sandals.

This large leather-trimmed canvas tote also has a shoulder strap for when you overload it on your trip to the beach or mountains.

If your hair is as long as mine is right now, pull it back with this chic gold-plated hair clip.

I love the shape of these oversized round-frame tortoiseshell acetate sunglasses that are on sale for $69.00.

I found out today that you don’t apply the Dr. Barbara Sturm Lifting Serum first like most serums but at the end of your skincare regime. This serum visibly lifts skin and reduces the appearance of visible signs of aging and smooths surface texture for a more refined, even-looking complexion
