Mas de Notre Dame de Vie in Mougins where Pablo Picasso lived and worked from 1961 till his death in 1973 will be sold at auction on October 12, 2017 by Residence365.com. Picasso’s wife Jacqueline Roque lived in the house until her death in 1986 and left everything as it was when Picasso was alive. After her death, it sat empty for 30 years and was in a serious state of disrepair when a Belgian purchased the property. He hired Axel Vervoordt to restore the property which includes a main house, guesthouse, caretaker cottage, pool house and various outbuildings which include 15 bedrooms and 12 bathrooms. Mas de Notre Dame de Vie is billed as “second to none on the Côte d’Azur” with bidding to start at 20,200,000 Euros. Bonne chance!
