I’ve always been a super fan of Seth Meyers. On the occasions I manage to stay up late late, he’s always on point. Then there’s the fact that he helped his wife deliver their second baby in the lobby of their building. But over the weekend, Architectural Digest took a peek inside Seth’s gorgeous Greenwhich Village brownstone and I’m in awe.

It helps that Seth is the brother-in-law of Ariel Ashe, co-founder of NYC design gurus Ashe Leandro, who brilliantly used elevated pieces to create a thoughtful, yet approachable home. The space has a very elegant vibe but it’s rich tones, use of yummy fabrics and subtle colors are just lovely. Do you spy the display legs on that custom coffee table? I love that idea!

This home also reconfirms my love of white walls. You just need tons of dramatic contrast to offset them – rich dark floors, saturated rugs, and warm wood tones everywhere you look.

This burl oak console is an Ashe Leandro creation for their new furniture line Ruemmler.

So are these stunning split oak dining chairs are quite the showstopper, but so is that table! I’m obsessed with those asymmetrical legs. It’s giving me all the ideas for my dining room.

Another dark kitchen alert! Including a black sink. Swoon. This one is painted in Farrow & Ball’s Off-Black, but it’s warmed up with brass hardware, and terra cotta tile floors. I would never have thought that combo would work, but it so does. I’m really really itching to paint my kitchen right now…

Small details can have a huge impact. Also that vintage candle holder on the far wall is all kinds of yummy. Again – little details my friends.
This dark color scheme looks rather familiar!

The built-in powder room sink is fast becoming a major 2019 design trend.

This kids room is a great example of timeless pieces used with childlike playfulness. Those bookshelves will definitely grow along with Seth’s children.
Some spaces just draw you in. This home is definitely one.
