The Best Lunch Spots in Miami, Florida

Miami’s food scene is very impressive, with no shortage of fabulous fine dining restaurants to enjoy. Living nearby in Fort Lauderdale, I’ve been lucky to discover so many restaurants that are perfect for every occasion. If you’re looking for the ideal place to enjoy lunch either with friends or colleagues, check out my top picks…

#1 Lima Restaurant – Best for a Business Lunch

When you’re in need of a working lunch spot, and are too hungry to decide, head to Lima at Novotel Miami Brickell, named after one of the world’s foremost culinary destinations. The menu features the many varieties of culture that have shaped the landscape and way of life, from the conquistadors of Spain and Portugal to the far east of Japan and Korea. There will be something to make everyone happy, with room in the budget to splurge on the fairly priced wine list.

I love how you can make a custom charcuterie board here, with a fine selection of European cured meats and cheeses. I’d also recommend sharing their small plates, like they unique Open Blue Cobia Ceviche or Cuban sandwich Croquettas. And if you have a sweet tooth, don’t leave without trying their incredible Roy’s Bread Pudding with dulce de leche ice cream, banana, and bacon.

#2 UVA Bar – Best for a Casual Lunch or Happy Hour

Also located in the contemporary and elegant Novotel Miami Brickell, you’ll discover UVA in their beautiful lobby. This bar can provide a more casual experience for lunch, or after work to enjoy a refreshing drink, meet friends, entertain clients, or celebrate a special occasion. Taking the tapas portion of Lima and its fantastic wines by the glass, it is sure to impress. Their Happy Hour is offered every day from 4-7 pm!

#3 Osaka Neikki – Best New Lunch Spot

To help beat those Monday Blue’s, be sure to check out a perfect light lunch spot at Osaka Neikki. They recently launched a brand new lunch menu, featuring deliciously fresh Japanese fare! Stop by Brickell’s hottest night time restaurant during lunch, and break up the work day with the latest in Nikkei innovations. If you want to make it a true “business lunch” be sure to check out the craft cocktails from the Kero Bar.

Some of their standout dishes include Crispy Moulard Duck Leg, Smoked Pork, Mariscos al Fuego, Niku Tartare and so much more. I always love ordering the Suspiro Nikkei for dessert which consists of Lemongrass Manjar, Soursop Ice Cream and Peruvian Chocolate Soil. Be sure to have your phone ready, as it’s a very Instagrammable treat!

#4 The Deck at Island Gardens – Best for a Waterfront Weekend Lunch
