Shingle Style Chic on Martha’s Vineyard

I recently learned that there are Seastreak ferries from New York to Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket. They take five to six hours and you can’t bring a car but you can remain socially distant outside. I will probably just take my chances with the easy one hour flight from LaGuardia to Nantucket but will consider taking a ferry to Martha’s Vineyard after seeing this classic shingle style home designed by Victoria Hagan featured in Architectural Digest. She and her family have a house on Nantucket so she was a great choice to respect the history of the house but also make it a comfortable place for the owners to escape the city. The kitchen is the new darling of Instagram so expect to see painted floors become a post quarantine trend.
